A letter to self can be a godsend. I think it can be difficult to remember to write on it when one is in a place of clarity and strength. At those times it’s easy to forget that every one of us needs a way to come back to our rootedness and joy when things get tough. What a valuable tool to have in a difficult season, Stella.

Oh, thank you, Manuela! If Picasso had a blue period, so did I-- between 2016-2022. I created them using my Iphone. I was working full-time back then and I only had times in between commutes, etc to create these photographs. I used an app called Union to do the juxtapositions.
