Thank you, CJ! Iced hot chocolate sounds about right in the summer heat. Perfect.

This is beautiful, Stella. I love the image of you taking smaller and smaller sips, so as to prolong the bliss of that moment. I feel like that’s what we try to do when we’re practicing mindfulness--and in doing so, it’s like we can stretch time, can’t we?

I love so many beverages. It’s hard to choose. I love hot chocolate, but I’ve never had really fine “sipping” chocolate, which I would love to try someday. I love coffee in any form. A little too much sometimes. I guess my favorite treat is matcha green tea mixed with any kind of plant-based milk. 🌿💚

Ahh, coffee. If I could have it all the time I would but with stomach issues, it’s a no-go. I miss it though. Macha green tea sounds delightful. Hooray for plant-based milk. 💕

That sounds like a delicious memory. So sad it was lost to the pandemic. Hopefully something magical eventually emerges in its space.

My favorite drink is an espresso martini, which must be trending again because I suddenly see it on many menus when for years it was hard to find one. Noosh makes a great one. So does Tailor's Son. And Original Joe's. Not that I have them super often but I do like exploring the city to try new ones.

I know, right? So many businesses closed after the lockdowns. I have not heard of espresso martini. I will have to google it! I’m glad to hear your trying out several kinds. How is your city nowadays?

They’re usually sugary/creamy so probably not the drink for you but I love them on occasion.

I am still in San Francisco. I continue to love it. We have our problems, certainly, but it’s still a magical place for me.

Oh, we’re in the same city then! Very cool, Kathryn.

I’ve been here seventeen years. It’s more home than my hometown. You?

I just did the math and it’s 25 years already. Wow. Definitely longer than anywhere I’ve lived.

Hot chocolate is my favorite beverage too! I prefer non-dairy milk like almond, oat, or soy. I love the digital collage!

I drink a cup of homemade chai most mornings. In college, some girlfriends and I had a favorite Indian restaurant that served (among other delicious things) bottomless chai, hot or iced. I love it both ways and make it spicy, packed full of cloves and pepper and cardamom and ginger.

Friendship and chai. Oh, I love that, Sara. Thanks for sharing those memories. Made me smile and think of my photo friends in college.

I don’t really have a favorite beverage. I’m just peeking in to say the digital collage is top notch. I love it!

Such a lovely post, Stella!

My favourite beverage? Tea. #becauseBritish 😉

Proper builders' tea, to boot - strong, dark, blisteringly hot, NOT left to brew, but mashed with a spoon until it's black as night, and served in the largest mug possible with barely a dash of milk. It's soooo ugly that it looks undrinkable, but it's absolutely hands-down GLORIOUS to drink.

I can picture it Rebecca but don’t know if I can take a sip. 🫣I’d be curious though! Ahh yes! The affinity is real with British and tea-- it’s in your DNA. Thanks for sharing!
