We all learn in different ways. Some hear, some see, some do - most of us need some combination of all three. Finding the right key(s) for each individual is critical for their success. And having support and positivity when we hit a brick wall is SO important. I’m thrilled that you learned your strengths so early in life and that you’ve applied them so well. You clearly brighten many lives. Thanks so much for brightening my day. An uplifting article.

I’m a happy, lucky, retired Australian living in a rural village. And I can only assume that someone recommended your Wabi-Sabi article in Notes, so I came to visit and decided to subscribe! Substack seems to attract some very cool, thoughtful people. A lovely place to be. Thanks so much for your contributions.

Great teachers like you have empathy for their students. You can intuitively discern the student's needs-- both spoken and unspoken. What a beautiful gift!

You clearly have a gift for teaching! I love how you noticed the photographer needed instruction in a different way and found a method that connected with him. What if we all took a little more time like this when helping people. Very inspiring post today!

Thank you for sharing Stella, I think I am definitely more words than numbers! I really struggled with maths as school, mainly because my teacher was horrible and I've never got on with it since.

Welcome to Sundays with Stella, Louise! Thanks for reading. I hear you on having horrible teachers. I've had a few of those in school too. And it does hinder our learning and interest in the subject matter they're teaching. I'm just glad there are tools and technology to help us with our math deficiencies. Or, if we have the means, hire someone to figure it out for us.
