I am a details geek myself :) Honestly, I wish we all could be - having interest and fascination in how all kinds of things are made would honestly be such a benefit to each of us individually and society as a whole. 🤷🏼♀️ I feel the same way about nature of course - the more interest, the better for us all!

Great post, thank you so much. Love Irving Penn. Specially as I was a booker in a model agency many moons ago and the "Photobuisiness" was for 17 years my favorite job. Even lived in Paris in the 1990-93 and worked there. So Irving Penn is a legend that is for sure. And I feel in your writing what a great day you had. Oh, what a wonderful job, Sabine! And, in the 1990s too during the time when photographers like Herb Ritts, Albert Watson, Peter Lindberg, etc.were at the top of their game.
